Raise your hand if you are in love with this green-orange combo!

How stunning are these invitations?  Hand painted and perfectly coordinated.  Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

The wedding and reception were held at Tiki Beach on Seven Mile Beach and Celebrations did an excellent job with the coordination and decor!!

Hope you all enjoy your Thursday and we’ll see you again tomorrow!

Happy Friday!  Hope everyone had a good week and you all have some fun plans for the weekend!  Wrapping it up with this fab wedding today…you know I’m in love with the stationery but the rest is to die for as well!

These two were married at a condominium complex on Seven Mile Beach called Villas of the Galleon.  As it should be, feet were in the sand and shoes were optional!

LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the color of the bridesmaid dresses!  I’m tempted to call it tangerine tango…do you know that is the Pantone color of the year??

These two are just having so much fun–I love that!  There were so many photos of the two of them just laughing and having a ball.  Perfect–the way it always should be!!

Check out that cake–the geometric shapes are awesome!!!  And, who doesn’t LURVE that color???

The reception was held at Osetra Bay, a stunning restaurant on Morgan’s Harbour!  After dinner the couple and their guests danced the night away!!!

Congratulations Liz and John, thank you for letting us share your day!

I loved this engagement session shot by Janet of Better Angle.  So different from the ones I’ve seen before in the Cayman Islands and well, really, really gorgeous!

This couple met at the Vet school here so obviously animals are important to them!  They started off their session at the Equestrian Center (can you think of a more perfect place for two vet students??) and ended at sunset on the gorgeous beach!

Hope you enjoy!!

Cayman Islands Real Wedding :: Kristin and Sean

We were going through our archives and came across this fab wedding…I couldn’t help but to share it again with all of you (and for the first time for many of you!)  Hope you enjoy!

Crystal Blue ::  Why did you choose Cayman for your wedding destination?

K&S ::  We had been to Cayman twice…for my cousin’s wedding and for one day on a cruise ship and we fell in love with Cayman.  Then after losing a special family member who loved the Caymans, we knew without a doubt this would be our location.  My mother and I decided we wanted everyone to experience just what my aunt enjoyed and loved so much about the Caymans.

Crystal Blue ::  What was the design inspiration for your wedding?

K&S ::  Light pinks and coral w/ a little accent of turquoise.  I wanted it to be unique, I was pretty picky with the design and decor!  After researching and looking at other weddings/decorations for a year I knew exactly what I liked and didn’t.   My favorite part of the whole design were the canopies we had around our dinner tables.

There are so many beautiful details in this wedding I was just dying when I saw the photos!!  Oh, and let’s not forget the gorgeous day!

Crystal Blue Monday Mini…on a Tuesday

by on April 10, 2012
in Uncategorized

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend!  Here’s a fun tip about Cayman…Easter weekend is the only time of year that it is legal to camp on the beach in the Cayman Islands.  I personally have not braved this in all of the time I’ve been here but, oh boy, you should see the amazing production of some of these campsites!!

The reason I mention this is as a planning tip for you…if you are planning on getting married in Cayman during the week surrounding Easter and you are planning on exchanging your vows on one of our gorgeous public beaches, keep in mind that you will have the campers there with you to share in your ceremony.  I’m not saying this is a bad thing–it could be quite fun, actually–I’m just letting you know!

Anyway, onto the mini we chose for you today.  How about this sand sculpture for your proposal???

After the vows had been said, the speeches had been made and the cake had been cut, this couple and their guests danced the night away!!!  Welcomed to their first dance in a sea of sparklers, the couple headed back down to the patio at the Cracked Conch.  After dancing for the first time as husband and wife, Nolly took the floor!  What a hit she was!

The guests really got into it, raided the fun dress trunk and had a ball in the smile booth!  Everyone had a great time and danced the night away!!!
