Cayman Islands Real Wedding :: Josephine and Stephen

I’ve been browsing through some “blasts from the past” and came across this wedding I posted a long, long time ago (about a year and a half ago).  I just love it–I’ve always loved it.  The colors, the opulence and the gorgeous couple–I felt the need to share with you again!  Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!!

First, the couple…HELLO magazine models (well, actually the bride is).  Second, the colors–WOW is really all I can say about that…just too beautiful!

Let’s get you started with some of this eye candy by Aaron Rebarchek ::

Isn’t that aisle just beautiful?  I told you it was different than what we usually show here!

Josephine’s favorite design element was the bridesmaid bouquets.  Check them out below!  Lime green mums with teal ostrich feathers against the bright purple dress–again, I say, WOW!  It’s not often that you see weddings with this amount of color and I love it!

No detail was left unnoticed at the reception.  Lush linens, peacock feathers. chandeliers, candelabra and more.  Each of the tables were named after famous couples from history as opposed to the standard table numbers.

Cayman Islands Beach Wedding

Lovely.  Beautiful.  Elegant.  Simple.  These are the first words that come to mind with this beachfront wedding.  The color palatte is mostly white with small pops of yellow and coral (great combo!!) but overall, this couple let the beach setting do the talking!

Red, white and beach all over…Cayman Islands Real Wedding

Happy Friday!  I hope you had a good week and are geared up for the weekend!!  If you’re getting married this weekend–WOOHOO–cheers to you!  I walked into the store today and it was DECKED out for Christmas.  I am a post-Thanksgiving decorator myself so am not quite in the mode but when I saw this wedding, the red and white reminded me that Christmas IS just around the corner!

I love the strong color against the backdrop of the Cayman waters and while this wedding was small and intimate, the red made a big impact!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Cayman Islands Wedding :: Camille and Garth

You’re in for a treat today.  Seriously, this is the equivalent of giving you an honest to goodness cupcake but without the calories.

Camille and Garth were married at the Cotton Tree Resort in West Bay of Grand Cayman.  This private boutique resort had four traditional Cayman homes on the property for guests to stay in while enjoying Barkers Beach or the lovely pool.  It is a perfect setting for a smaller, intimate wedding like Camille and Garth’s and provides all of the luxury you could want.

This is my all time favorite ring shot…those are real live hermit crabs!  Talk about ring bearer!

Cayman Islands Wedding :: Cara and Jay

Happy Wedding Wednesday!!  We hope you’re having a great week!  Get ready to see this truly gorgeous, truly beach wedding of Cara and Jay!   Cara is a Crystal Blue Weddings reader so when I saw her wedding arrive in my inbox I was more than excited to see the details!!!  I hope you love it too!

I LOVE this ring shot.  So organic and definitely original (well, at least one I’ve never seen before!!)

Let me just interject (again) here…loving the chalkboards more for just the face that they are fun.  Cara and Jay live in Cayman and I know how hard it is to get things like this.  It’s not like we have a Michael’s craft store down the road, afterall.  So, the effort that went into these details is enormous and I for one, very much appreciate that!

A few weeks ago I posted a story board about signs. I love when people use fun signs to add to their decor and these folks took that story board and brought it to life! Each sign they used had meaningful words that really stop and make you think about what this day is all about–marrying the one you love.

The aisle was lined with different signs along the way.  Some heartfelt, some to give a laugh.  After all, isn’t that what marriage is supposed to be about?  Growing together, sharing your hearts with each other and laughing A LOT!

Loving the bridesmaids dresses…I love how their all different and the berry color really is gorgeous!

The signs continued into the reception…I would have been all about those maracas!!  Shake, shake, shake!!

The past two days have been full of gorgeous details and beautiful people.  Today it’s about the bride and groom and a LOT of fun!!!!  Jenna and Josh had a STUNNING portrait and trash the dress session with Aaron (I mean, there are even horses for goodness sake!).  I love the locations they chose and the water, well, makes me just want to go swimming!
