Cayman Islands Wedding with Cayman Luxury Charters

When couples come to the Cayman Islands to get married, 99% of the time they say they want the crystal blue water as the background to their wedding.  Well, what about background, foreground, left and right sides for the crystal blue water??  This couple wanted to be surrounded by the Caribbean Sea upon the most gorgeous yacht for their nuptials…simple and sophisticated–I am in love!

How can you not love this?  The yacht is amazing, sunset is perfect and I can’t decide which I like more…the sunflowers or the balloon release…guess I don’t really have to decide, do I?

This lovely couple was married on the Northside of the island.  It’s near Rum Point and completely different from the Seven Mile Beach part of the island.  If you’re ever in town, definitely check it out (if you’re not staying up there!)

I’m always so happy to receive a church wedding submission, especially one as beautiful as this one!  Leslie and Rohan were married at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church in the town of Savannah and Grand Cayman.  We all know you can’t go wrong with a Tiffany Blue and Ivory color palate (one of my FAVORITES) coupled with gorgeous people, stunning flowers and amazing photography, this one is definitely a winner!

Come back tomorrow for the amazing reception (at Grand Old House) and to find out who were the providers who made this all happen!

Welcome back to this tropically festive fabulous wedding!

Crystal Blue ::  There are so many lovely details in this wedding.  What was your favorite design element?

B&B ::  Scrolled messages in a bottle gave everyone their table seating. The table names were of Essie nail polish colors related to wedding names liked “Happily Ever After” and “Wedded Bliss.” Each woman had the nail color of their table at their seat.

At the end of the evening, all of the sudden, fireworks went off!!  They weren’t planned for the wedding but a nearby location had them for an event and luckily everyone at the wedding benefited from the spectacular display!  As my Dad said, timing is everything!!

Loving this Lily Pulitzer inspired wedding we have for you today!  The pink, the green and some orange mixed in makes this a tropical beauty, topped off with a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown and surprise fireworks and we’ve got ourselves a just about perfect Cayman Islands wedding!

Crystal Blue ::  Why did you choose Grand Cayman for your wedding destination?

B&B ::  We thought Grand Cayman would be the perfect destination for our beach wedding.  I (Brittain) had been several times with my family when I was younger and thought our guests would love the Cayman Islands.

There are some fabulous little details in this wedding.  The shoe check for the ceremony where everyone could leave their shoes, pick up a pair of flip flops and a fan.  Island style all the way!!

The party started at LUCA for the rehearsal/welcome dinner the night before the wedding.  The ceremony took place on Seven Mile Beach at Grand Cayman Beach Suites with cocktails following at Hemingways.  The party then continued at Brittania Golf Club across the road for a fantastic dinner and dancing!

I am LOVING the fabric on this canopy!  Not your traditional white, ladies!!

Come back tomorrow for more details and the 411 on the providers who made this all possible!

Cayman Islands Real Wedding :: Jennifer and Philipp

Today we are introducing you to Jennifer and Philipp’s wedding weekend!  I say introduce because there was so much fun with this couple and their group, this is just the first post of a few you will see this week.  I was so honored to personally work with Jennifer and Philipp…they are such fantastic people with impeccable style and full of fun  that I just had a blast helping them plan their wedding weekend.

The weekend started when the guests arrived…each welcomed with a bag full of goodies including Tortuga Rum and a can of diet Coke, Tortuga coffee, some snacks and a map/itinerary designed by Laura Hooper Calligraphy.  Everyone stayed at the Caribbean Club and Jennifer and Philipp had a great idea and rented one of the villas to be the “gathering” point throughout the weekend.

Thursday night everyone enjoyed a welcome cocktail in the Villa and then headed to Ragazzi for a yummy casual dinner.  It was a great way to start off the weekend!  Jennifer and Philipp had David Wolfe document each night (and of course the wedding day!).

Day 2…beach, fun and sun during the day and the white party at night.  The night kicked off with a sunset sail on the Red Sail catamaran.  Mise En Place catered in some apps for the sail as well.  After returning to shore, the guests enjoyed the rest of the evening at the Villa where steel drummers played some tunes, Mise En Place put on some food and beverage and everyone just had a great time!

Day 3…wedding day.  You’ll have to come back later in the week for these details!!!!

Cayman Islands Engagement Shoot

by on February 16, 2011
in Uncategorized

In honor of Valentines week, we wanted to share with you an engagement session with an actual proposal!!

After becoming engaged, many couples have engagement photos taken.  Some use them to announce their engagement, some to try out a photographer and some, just for fun.  The twist on today’s shoot is this…this gorgeous couple lives in Grand Cayman and they were leaving the island.  Not yet engaged, they wanted to capture some memories of their favorite spots and hired David Wolfe to do that for them.  Little did she know, this engagement shoot would end with…an engagement!!!

Seven Mile Beach is a “must” for any location shoot.  This couple chose Snooze Lane for their piece of Seven Mile.  (Don’t you just love the name, Snooze Lane??)

Coconut Joes is where they first met, so of course this location was meaningful to them.

Last location, Camana Bay–there are so many little nooks in Camana Bay–perfect for any photo shoot!

Congratulations you two!!!!!  What a great way to start the rest of your lives together!
