More of today’s tropical Cayman Islands Wedding

So what’s a wedding in the Caribbean without a little aqua blue water? Even better when the bride and groom fully embrace this aqua blue water situation and jump right in–literally!
Love the people catching the bouquet–these are not paid actors!!! Too much fun!

Tropical Colors at this Cayman Islands Wedding
by Danielle on March 1, 2012
in Cayman Islands
It hit me the other day that we haven’t posted a truly tropical wedding in a while. You know the ones with the fun vibrant colors that just make you smile. Well, that’s what we have for you today so get your smile-er ready and read on, my friends!
See what I mean–right away you’ve got the color blast! Loving this bouquet with the mango calla lilies and the green and white cymbidium orchids. Well, and OF COURSE the hot pink roses–you just can’t do tropical without a little hot pink in the mix!
Instead of numbers the table names were locations in Cayman like George Town and Seven Mile Beach. Love that idea and it really includes your chosen destination as more than just the amazing place that it is!
Love the koozies–each guest got one as a welcome present and just LOOK at that cake–bursting with tropical loveliness (and I bet it was YUMMY too!!)
Come back later for a little bit more!!

I am loving this Little Cayman wedding. Why, you ask? Well first, Little Cayman is just amazing!! Second, because this couple is absolutely gorgeous!! (Check out their engagement session here.) Third, because although you are on a tiny island, REALLY away from it all, you will see that there is no need to compromise on any detail you may want for your day!
And this is just the beginning…come back later to see their stunning candle-lit reception complete with sparklers and the crazy booth!!

Did you love the details from this morning? What was your favorite? I always love a keepsake attached to the bouquet stem. It’s like a little hidden secret that only the bride knows about. And the invitations–well, I just think they are pretty darned perfect for a destination wedding.
Now, some photos of the bride and groom during their portraits and trash the dress session. They even brought in detail here!
How cute are they? I love the props (I am a photo booth hog)–what a great idea for thank you notes!!
What details did you incorporate into your wedding? We’d love to know!!

Cayman Islands Wedding Details

You know how I am about details. Don’t you? Love them, love them, love them. I really think it’s in the details where the couple’s wedding reflects the couple–their interests and their personalities –making their day even more special than it already is!
For today’s wedding we are going to show you the details. From the invitations (boarding passes–perfect for a destination wedding) to the escort bottles of sand, these two poured themselves into this day. I am in love. Oh, and there are M&Ms too so that pushed me over the top.
How about them details??? We’ll be back in a little while with some fantastic shots from their portrait and trash the dress session–there were PROPS!! Love it!

Sweet, simple and gorgeous Cayman Islands Beach Wedding

Lovely wedding for this lovely Friday. Sometimes I think I’m beginning to sound like a broken record but when you’re as obsessed with weddings as I am, it’s super hard to not love something as sweet and simple as today’s wedding. Don’t get me wrong, I love a towering centerpiece full of flowers as much as the next guy but when a couple keeps it simple, it reminds me what it’s really all about.
Very cute–love the signs. I know, only four images today but, personally, I think these four images capture the heart of this couple’s story.
Have a great weekend everyone!

More of our stunning Cayman Islands Wedding

Can’t stop drooling? Well, here’s some more. As you can see, this was not a small wedding which again, reminds me of how awesome our wedding industry is here in Cayman. If you are planning a destination wedding here, no matter how big or how small, you really don’t have a need to look outside of the island to find everything you want and need. And I mean everything.
Here are a couple of photos from the portrait session–having fun!!
And check out this tent at nighttime…the lighting, the bling…LOVE.

Not something we normally do but I saw the pages from this couple’s wedding album and thought, for a change, they would be fun to share! Sort of an out of the box kind of thing we’re going for here….
